Coronavirus/Covid-19 update
Feet first Podiatry Bolton will be open as usual, albeit with extra precautions in place for both the protection of our patients and staff.
We continuously work hard at maintaining health and safety by adhering to all guidelines issued to us. The health and safety of our patients, staff, family and friends are of the utmost importance to us. With this in mind, we would like to implement a few steps to help stop the spread of this virus while we continue to provide a full Podiatry service to our patients.
1. If you feel unwell at all please call and reschedule your appointment. If you are unwell but require urgent care, please call the practice on 01204 777319 and we will advise you of what to do. Please do not come into the practice.
2. Wash your hands – we would kindly ask that all our patients wash their hands with soap and water or use the hand sanitizer provided on entering the practice. We will ensure that all public areas within the practice are cleaned thoroughly throughout the day such as: door handles, waiting room, reception etc.
3. We have removed all magazines, newspapers and books from our waiting room to limit any potential spread.
If you have developed any symptoms of Covid-19 (new continuous cough/high fever) , It is important that you stay at home and self-isolate. If your symptoms worsen seek advice by calling the NHS on 111.
We would ask that, where possible, you continue to provide us with 24 hours’ notice for cancelling your appointment but, equally, we will be very sympathetic and understanding that this may not be possible due to the uncertainty that we currently face.
We will continue to closely monitor the ever-changing situation and we will implement any recommended changes as soon as they are announced.
We hope that you keep well and safe.
Tina and Rachel
