Established in 2012, we are a small Podiatry Practice offering a wide range of treatments and advice for Foot and lower leg problems.
We are the only practice in Bolton that is accredited with the College of Podiatry.
Podiatry or podiatric medicine is a branch of medicine devoted to the study, diagnosis, and medical and surgical treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle and lower extremity. Podiatrists study at university for 3 years and can work in the private sector or NHS. There are many specialities in Podiatry including sports medicine, Diabetes and peripheral arterial disease (poor blood supply), Rheumatology, Gait analysis and biomechanical examination and insoles, musculoskeletal Podiatry and forensic podiatry. Podiatrists work with doctors and General practitioners, Hospital consultants, Nurses and Physiotherapists.

What foot Conditions do we treat?
We can advise on any foot problem but the most common conditions we see are infected, ingrowing, thick, sore and painful toe nails. We can perform (if it is necessary) nail surgery where we can take a section or the whole nail away under local anaesthetic.
We also see people for corns, callus, hard skin, pedicures, athlete’s foot, blisters, bunions, chilblains, fungal infections, Gout, arthritis, heel pain, metatarsalgia, plantar fasciitis, sports injury, sweaty feet, painful feet, verrucae, toe deformities, poor circulation and we also provide insoles, orthotics and biomechanical assessment.

Appointments
A new patient assessment appointment takes around 30-40 mins and similar to a Dental check-up we assess the health of your feet. We will provide advice and if appropriate, treatment.
Please bring an up to date list of medications you may take and provide a full medical history to the Podiatrist.
Return/ Maintenance appointments are for patients who need to receive regular treatment and have had a new Patient assessment appointment. They usually take around 30 minutes.
Dressing appointments are for patients who require wound care or a review of previous treatment and have had a new patient assessment.

Nail surgery- Partial nail Avulsion £320.00. Total nail avulsion £340.00. Surgery on two toes is £350.00
Fungal nails- 5minute fungus nail test- £40.00 plus new patient appointment.
Lacuna treatment is £70.00-£175.00 depending on the number of nails affected plus new patient appointment.
Verrucae Needling-£160.00 for treatment and two follow-up appointments, after the new patient appointment.
Swift Microwave therapy for Verrucae is £300.00 for three treatments after new patient assessment appointment.
Biomechanical Assessment/Gait Analysis/ Orthoses/ Insoles-Initial consultation is £45.00. Gait/Biomechanical assessment with insoles is £360.00, which includes the assessment, insoles, fitting appointment and review.
